News for November 30, 2007

Friday, November 30th, 2007

It’s the end of November and we’re deep into the holiday season. Yes, millions of Americans have begun their slide into the seasonal insanity that’s sparked by the inane corporate Christmas muzak piped into every mall in the country minutes after the clock struck midnight on the last Thursday of this month.

We extend our sympathies to them, because the pain won’t end until the first of January ushers in an 11-month respite from the aural pollution of dogs barking “Jingle Bells”.

News for November 23th, 2007

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

And a good evening to everyone out there in radio land. I’d like to take a moment to acquaint all those listeners who may be new to the Timothy Jordan Show with some little-known facts about the program. We practice a form of the barrier method, using these microphones and your speaker, to limit the flow of information about the people behind the program. The less that you know, the more we can get away with.

But every now and then we dip into the mailbag and answer some questions from the listening audience. Recently there’s been some curiosity about the people behind the program, and what goes into producing each show. Ever responsive to our listeners, I’ll now provide a few insights into the show.

News for November 16th, 2007

Friday, November 16th, 2007

Can you smell it in the air? There’s an odor on the wind, very faint. Not much to it yet. I’m only getting a little whiff of it here in the studio. Are you guys picking this up? No, no, it’s something else. It smells like… fermented human waste, which can only mean one thing.

Yep, you guessed it, we’re barely over one year out from the 2008 Presidential election. The long-anticipated primary season is about to start just as soon as New Hampshire and Ohio finish strutting like a couple of bantam gamecocks, and finally get around to setting a date for their legally-mandated first primary of 2008– which may happen in 2007 if the rest of the country doesn’t stop screwing around with their own primary dates. Florida, I’m looking at you.

News for November 9th, 2007

Friday, November 9th, 2007

Where are my pants? Why are there things randomly sawed in half scattered around the kitchen? Ahh, yes. It’s the wreckage of disgruntlement.

The News Staff, suffering from a severe lack of gruntle, may have cut loose a bit last night. Due to the length of the interviews there wasn’t enough time to make a presentation of the News segment worthwhile. I apologize to listeners for this, and promise to apply my testicles to the forehead of anyone who interferes with the broadcast of future News segments.
