Any visitors to the Fortified Mountain Compound passing by my office yesterday morning would have best been warned to keep on their toes. I was listening to a Press conference at the White House by our dear leader, and that always puts me in the mood to throw empty bottles of scotch.

Even this show is a Cabaret

Cabaret PosterWe’re back this week featuring an interview with our own Scotty K about his production of Cabaret at San Lorenzo Valley High. UCSC Professor Peter Kunitz provides some historical perspective about Cabaret-era Germany, and a pair of students join us to talk about their experiences working on the play.

The News Staff has been avoiding egg loaf, with good reason, but won’t avoid talking about it, more developments in warrantless wiretapping, witchcraft, videotaped interrogations Gitmo, and excellence.  Read the full news here.

Sweet Vaginas, Ra-Ra-Ra

Sweet on GeeksRounding out the romance, Joyce Dales from sweetongeeks.com talks with Timothy about finding love and their Millennium Falcon challenge.

The results from last week’s election are in, and it’s looking as if Republican party will be fronting John McCain as their presidential candidate this year. Given his less-than-favorable reputation with the more rabid members of the conservative junk media, don’t be surprised in a few weeks when his running mate turns out to be the only remaining Republican contender with any large-scale popular support, Mike “Evolution is only a theory” Huckabee.
