Mama Loves Burlesque

Timothy and the radio crew were joined by performers from Santa Cruz’ burlesque group Burlesque La Moustache Je T’aime (Blamjets) to talk about their upcoming show.

Four members of the Santa Cruz Roller Girls join us in the studio today as we talk about UCSC’s acquisition of The Grateful Dead’s archives.  Timothy talks to the Head of Special Collections and Archives, Christine Bunting, about the boatloads of dead stuff being shipped to her office and plays segments of our interview with Bob Weir from January 2007.  The Roller Girls–Robin Yo’ Life, Charlie Redstick, Babs Bomber, and Rollita–discuss their upcoming game at the Santa Cruz Civic on May 10th, and help us give away some tickets to that game.
